​Ashburton Powdercoating is a local metal-finishing company that protects, colours and transforms your materials into hard-wearing, long-lasting products.

​Powdercoating is the process of spraying coloured powders onto electrostatically charged metal objects coating them in a fine layer which is then cured solid in one of our specialty ovens.

We cover all major industries from farming and agricultural needs to traditional engineering and even fashion and design.​

We can improve and colour almost any metal item so if something can do with a spruce up, we can do it.

Sandblasting

As part of our comprehensive service, we also offer sandblasting.  Sandblasting is the process of cleaning and preparing metal and other items with sand forced through a hose under high pressure.

Sandblasting is used in the pre-treatment of metal items before powdercoating and also for the cleaning of corroded and degraded surfaces such as classic car parts, mag wheels, building materials and farm machinery.

We have a large, specialised indoor booth for in-workshop jobs but also have a mobile version for tricky on-site jobs.
